How to make Ghee from Malai at home: Nowadays, most of the things available in the market are adulterated. Similarly, people are scared of eating ghee. Many brands of open and packed ghee are available in the market. It is not easy to understand which is pure and which is impure, which is adulterated. If you do not consume ghee available in the market, then you can extract pure ghee at home in a very easy way. Ghee made at home will be pure and full of hygiene. Although some people make ghee in a pan for hours, but now you can extract ghee in less time in a pressure cooker.
Extract ghee in a pressure cooker in an easy way
-To make ghee, you have to take out the cream from the milk every day and store it. Keep it stored in a bowl in the fridge. When the cream fills the bowl, you have to extract butter from it.
– Now put the stored cream in a clean vessel. Churn the cream with your hands or any churner. In a short while, it will start releasing water like buttermilk and butter will come out in a round shape.
Pure Desi Ghee will be extracted from this butter. Now take a pressure cooker. Heat it on the gas. Now put butter in the cooker. It will melt completely in a few minutes. Let it boil. Keep stirring it in between. Now add half a cup of water to it. Now stir it and put the lid on the cooker. Let it cook on medium flame. Let it whistle twice. Turn off the gas. Wait till the steam comes out of the pressure cooker. Now remove the lid and see. Pure homemade ghee is ready. Filter the ghee through a sieve and put it in a jar or bottle.
You can try this method too
Put some water in the cooker. Now put the cream stored in the fridge in it. Put it on the gas. Mix it well. Now put the lid on the cooker. Let it whistle two to three times. Turn off the gas. When the gas is gone, remove the lid. You will see that ghee will be seen floating on top. Once again turn on the gas and cook for 4-5 minutes. In a short while you will see that ghee has completely separated from the cream. Filter it and put it in a jar. Pure ghee is ready.
